The security forces on Saturday killed two Khwarij terrorists and arrested five in two separate intelligence-based operations (IBOs) conducted in different districts of Balochistan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to an Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) news release, the security forces conducted a successful IBO in District Pishin on reported presence of Khawarij and apprehended five of them and a large quantity of weapons, ammunition and explosives including three suicide vests were seized.

The detained Khawarij were involved in multiple terrorist attacks and were planning to target security forces as well as innocent civilians, it said.

In another operation in District Zhob on October 17, during a fire exchange with security forces, two Khawarijs were sent to hell.

In ensuing sanitisation of the area, weapons and ammunition were also recovered in large quantity.

“Security forces of Pakistan remain steadfast in their commitment to eradicate terrorism from the country and protect innocent civilians from this menace,” the ISPR said.

PM praises security forces

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif commended the officers and soldiers of security forces for successful operation against Fitna al-Khawarij terrorists in districts Pishin and Zhob.

In a statement, the prime minster congratulated the security forces for their commendable efforts, which resulted in the arrest of five Khawarij, and killing of two others.

“The entire nation including myself, pays tribute to the brave Pak army soldiers and officers for purging the country from Fitna al-Khawarij.”

He said the entire nation stood united with the Pakistan Armed Forces in their mission to thwart the ambitions of Pakistan’s enemies, who aim to spread unrest and instability in the country.

Mohsin Naqvi lauds security forces

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid glowing tributes to security forces for conducting successful operations against hardened terrorists of Fitna al-Khawarij in Pishin and Zhob districts.

Mohsin Naqvi said that brave security forces of our country once again thwarted evil designs of Fitna al-Khawarij to destabilize Pakistan.

He saluted the services and professionalism of security forces for conducting successful operations against enemies of Pakistan. He said that personnel of security forces are our heroes and we stand with them shoulder-to-shoulder till complete elimination of terrorism from Pakistan.

He said that we are proud and confident that our security forces will come victorious against their fight against terrorism.
