Foreign Ministry officials call for probe into death of diplomat Diyar Khan

Senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs have demanded a transparent investigation into the death of fellow diplomat Diyar Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a letter to the Secretary of Establishment, the officials sought a thorough investigation. The senior officers claimed that the diplomat died of a heart attack after the criticism and humiliation by the junior staff of the National Management Course.
During the presentation, Diyar Khan went through severe stress which resulted in a heart attack. Senior officers wrote a letter to the Establishment Division through Foreign Secretary Cyrus Sajjad Qazi.
The letter bears the signatures of 15 officials of Grade 20. Diyar Khan passed away on April 4, 2024.
