Summer vacations announced in AJK educational institutes

Summer vacations 2024 have been announced for all private, and public sector schools and colleges in Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) amid increasing temperatures, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to a notification issued on Friday, the higher education department announced summer vacation from July 10 to Aug 12, 2024, in all private, and public sector schools and colleges except winter stations.  

"All the private and public sector schools at the winter stations across AJK will, however, continue operating as per routine and they will avail the long holidays in winter season", said the notification. 

The students, teachers, and the admin staff along with the parents of the students will note the duration of the summer vacations in the schools and colleges, which are located in the summer zone.

The education institutes offering 4-year programs will observe summer holidays according to their academic calendar.
