PSL 2020: Karachi Kings beat Islamabad United by 5 wickets

Karachi Kings beat Islamabad United by five wickets in the 14th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2020 at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium on Sunday night.

Karachi Kings won the toss and elected to field first. Islamabad United posted 183 runs for the loss of three wickets in their 20 overs. Luke Ronchi smashed 84 runs off 58 balls including nine fours and two sixes. IU Captain Shadab Khan scored 54 runs off 31 balls. He hit three fours and four sixes.

Karachi Kings Umer Khan, Imad Wasim and Muhammad Amir took one wicket each.

In reply, Karachi Kings achieved the target in 19th over with five wickets in hand. Alex Hales played a match-winning innings of 52 runs from 32 balls including three fours and three sixes. Sharjeel and Delport scored 38 runs each.

Islamabad United Dale Steyn, Rumman Raees and Abdullah took one wicket each.
