The Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) in Karachi has carried out a big raid, as its officers have been successful in nabbing a top terrorist, who was the mastermind of the Orangi Town bomb blast in 2015, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The CTD officials also seized a hand grenade and other weapons from terrorist Abdul Mutalib alias Sohail belonging to a banned outfit.

The terrorist had received training for launching terrorist activities from Afghanistan.

It is pertinent to note that about seven years ago, at least four people were killed, while a number of citizens were injured in the tragic incident.
