Federal Minister Mian Javed Latif on Monday criticized PTI and said that it is ironic to see that those who violated the constitution and sabotaged the law from 2015 to 2017 are now lecturing about holding elections within 90 days in compliance with court ruling, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The PML-N stalwart lambasted Imran Khan and the PTI stating, “There will never be negotiations with terrorists, foreign agents or those who attack state institutions.”
The minister made the fiery statement at a press conference which could undermine the ongoing talks between PTI and the coalition government over elections.
Carrying on with the criticism Mr Latif said that Pervez Elahi and Usman Buzdar are being saved from court hearings. Additionally, he expressed his anger over what they call “special treatment” given to Imran Khan and not letting him exposed.
The time has come that everyone should be held accountable, said Javed Latif.
Latif also appeared jittery over state institutions’ failure to arrest Imran Khan from Zaman Park and Parvez Ilahi from his Lahore residence.
The Katcha operation was successful but the operation at Zaman Park and Zahoor Elahi Road was unsuccessful. Have the state institutions become so weak? he roared.
He alleged that people sitting in institutions are plotting and that Imran Khan is repeatedly stating facts about his facilitators.
He also reminded the forgotten nation the favours of Nawaz Sharif and said that Nawaz Sharif gifted CPEC to the nation, adding that no one will accept the polls outcome if they were held by keeping Nawaz Sharif out of the country.
