PTI, PML-N and PML-Q leaders join PPP

Several political leaders from Southern Punjab on Monday decided to join Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) after holding a meeting with the party's Chairman Bilawal Bhutto and former President Asif Ali Zardari.
According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, People’s Party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari met with PML-N, PTI, Pakistan Muslim League-Q, and other political parties’ leaders at Zardari House Islamabad and succeeded in convincing them to join Saheed Benazir Bhutto's party.
On the occasion, Syed Haroon Ahmad Sultan Bukhari of Muzaffargarh reposing confidence in the PPP leadership joined PPP. He parted ways with Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N).
Former member of the national assembly from Vehari Chaudhry Asghar Jat joined PPP from PTI. Syed Jameel Shah, a former member of the Punjab assembly from Khanewal also announced joining Pakistan People’s Party after leaving PML-N.
A PML-Q candidate from Muzaffargarh PP-271, Malik Faiz Ahmed Khakh Advocate joined PPP after parting ways with Ch Shujaat’s party.
Former PTI ticket holder from Bahawalnagar, Rana Intizar Ahmed joined PPP on the occasion.
Vice president of Pakistan Kisan Ittehad Mian Amir Vatto and former Masood Majeed Daha of Khanewal had announced joining PPP after quitting PTI.
President Asif Ali Zardari and Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari congratulated to them for joining the party.
Former prime minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani, Makhdoom Syed Ahmed Mahmood, Syed Murtaza Mahmood, Syed Mustafa Mahmood, PPP District General Secretary Malik Mazhar Pahor, Malik Fayaz Ahmed Advocate and Abdul Qadir Shaheen were also present on this occasion.
