Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) senior leader Hafiz Hamdullah has made it clear that the party will neither join the government nor extend any form of support to it.

Speaking on a national TV channel, Hamdullah set aside the rumors regarding JUI-F's possible involvement in the government’s plan for bringing necessary amendments to the Constitution and stated that the party would only take its position when concrete development emerged.

Hamdullah said that there is no question of JUI-F participating in the coalition government or providing any support.

He reiterated that JUI-F's position remains unchanged from what it was after the July 2018 elections, where the party stood firm on its principles.

"We believe that the 2024 election was not an election but rather an auction.”

Regarding his absence from meetings between Maulana Fazlur Rahman, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, and President Asif Ali Zardari, he clarified that he was not involved in any of these discussions.
