Jamadi us Sani moon not sighted in Pakistan

A meeting of the zonal body of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee was held on Monday to sight the moon of the Islamic month of Jamadi us Sani 1446.
Speaking to the media after the zonal committee meeting, Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Abdul Khabeer Azad said no witness from any part of the country confirmed sighting of the Jamadi us Sani moon on Monday evening. He said that weather was clear in most parts of the country, but it was overcast in some parts too. He said it was decided with consensus that first of the new Islamic month of Jamadi us Sani will fall on on Wednesday, December 4, 2024.
The Space and Upper Atmosphere and Research Commission (SUPARCO) said on Sunday that the new moon of Jamadi us Sani was born on December 1, 2024, at 11:21 am Pakistan Standard Time (PST). At sunset on December 2, 2024, the age of the new moon will be approximately 30 hours. SUPARCO said the sighting of the new moon with the naked eye was possible under perfectly clear weather conditions in the southern part of the country.
