Judicial Commission convenes meeting on LHC judges' postings on December 14

The Judicial Commission of Pakistan (JCP) convened a meeting on the posting of Lahore High Court judges, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Monday.

According to a JCP letter, Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Yahya Afridi will preside over the meeting on December 14.

Currently, 25 posts are vacant in the Lahore High Court. The meeting will consider appointing 7 lawyers as additional judges of Lahore High Court.

Those whose names will be considered are Malik Awais Khalid, Muhammad Jawad Zafar, Ali Masood Hayat, Ziaur Rehman, Siddeeq Awan, Hassan Nawaz Makhdoom and Aamir Ranjum Malik.
