Rivals mow down three in Kasur ambush

Three people were killed on Wednesday during a trade of fire between two groups in Kangan Pur area of Kasur over old enmity, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to details, two groups who were involved in old enmity exchanged fire in Kot Bismillah in the vicinity of Kangan Pur police station. As a result, three people were killed and five others sustained injuries.
The slain included: Mian Ghulam Rasool Jude (50), Mian Bilal (34), and a passerby Abdul Ghaffar (25).
Those who got hurt also included a 12-year-old child. The condition of two of the injured was stated to be critical. And they were referred to a Lahore hospital.
Those who were shot dead were going to attend a court hearing in Kasur.
The attackers laid an ambush to target the people of the other group.
The local police reached the crime scene immediately.
The trade organizations of Kangan Pur announced to observe a day of mourning on Wednesday and closed down all markets and shops.
The family members of the slain holding weapons in their arms keep roaming the whole area which has created a sense of panic among area residents.
