In an attempt to offer great cheer and delight to cricket lovers, famous Pakistani rock stars Ali Zafar and Aima Baig have decided to collaborate to create an incredible cricket anthem for the upcoming Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 9.

The delightful update regarding the duo’s collaboration has been shared by Aima Baig on her Instagram handle.

However, the song title and further details are still under the wrap.

It is important to note that Ali and Aima had previously joined hands for a mind-blowing ‘item number’ for the movie Teefa In Trouble which had garnered immense praise and popularity.

We all are aware that nothing is more demanding for PSL anthems than the superstar Ali Zafar who has made the ‘history’ three times with three hits.

In 2016, Ali Zafar sang and produced ‘Ab Khel Ke Dikha.’ The following year, the anthem Ab Khel Jamay Ga broke records of cricket anthems, becoming the most popular song following its release in 2018. Next year, Dil Se Jaan Laga De by Zafar came out as the anthem for season 3. However, in 2020, the star emerged with an unofficial anthem treat ‘Mela Loot Liya’ which was truly another hit.

In the year 2021, Aima collaborated with senior singer Naseebo Lal and popular musicians Young Stunners for the anthem ‘Groove Mera’ which had garnered huge criticism due to its controversial content. However, in the year 2022, Aima Baig joined hands with superstar Atif Aslam for the cricket song ‘Agay Dekh’ which went fine but not as a mega-hit.
