Karachi braves for heavy rain, Upper Dir life disrupted by snowfall

Amid sporadic rain in various parts of Karachi and prediction of heavy spell within few days, Karachi’s MD water board cancelled the leaves of staff by February 5 to meet untoward situation, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Met department stated that a new western disturbance entered in Balochistan with heavy showers expected in Karachi in the subsequent days.

Meanwhile weather turns pleasant bringing an end to a long spell of dry and cold season in Lahore. Met office predicted sporadic rain in current week.

The temperature was recorded at 9 degree Celsius. Air quality index was recoded at AQS 152.

Meanwhile amid continuous snowfall, the resident of Dir Bala faced multiple problems. More than 3 feet of snowfall was recorded in Thal Kamrat which lead to the blockage of roads and residents. The residents urged the local administration to clear roads.
