The Gohar Ejaz Foundation has been providing free medicines at Jinnah Hospital outdoors is in full swing.

The foundation has started the project in collaboration with international pharmaceutical company Novartis to provide free medicines to patients suffering from diabetes, blood pressure, breast cancer and lung diseases in the OPD of Jinnah Hospital from December 13.

Free medecines worth more than 8 lakh rupees are being given to the patients who come in hundreds of outdoor areas every day.

The foundation says that its mission is to give free medicines worth Rs 30 lakh to patients every day.

Through Gohar Ejaz Foundation, Jinnah Hospital has got the honor of being the first hospital in the country to provide free medicines on such a large scale.
