Pakistani badminton player Mahoor Shahzad makes it to the Olympics and we are proud to announce that the top-class badminton player will be representing Pakistan in the Tokyo Olympics.

Pakistan Olympic Association (POA) President Syed Arif Hassan believes that Mahoor deserves to participate in the Olympics as the player is determined to escalate through world rankings by immense improvement, keeping her game strong.

He further congratulated the star on making it to the Olympics and admitted that Mahoor is rather Pakistan’s most refined badminton player.  

Arif Hassan said, “She deserves to participate in the Olympics”.

It is a moment of extreme pride for the Pakistanis as this is the very first time a Pakistani woman has been invited to the Olympics.

Mahoor Shahzad is included amongst the top 133 women players around the globe. 

Badminton star Mahoor said, “My dream has come true. I can’t believe I will represent Pakistan in the Olympics. I will live up to expectations and raise the green crescent flag”.

Mahoor further elaborated over how Covid-19 restricted her from securing a place in the world’s top 100 badminton players.
