Lahore man murders 11-year-old son by slitting throat

A callous man murdered his 11-year-old son by slitting his throat in the Gawalmandi area of Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

According to police, Muhammad Azan did not come home from school, and his body with a slit throat was later found in Baghbanpura.

The accused also practices witchcraft, police said.

Gawalmandi police had registered a case of abduction on the complaint of the boy’s mother.

A team was formed for the recovery of the boy on the instructions of the City superintendent of police (SP).

The police team recovered the body of the boy and also arrested the accused. He was identified as Rafiq.

“The accused murdered his son over domestic issues,” police said. Further investigation into the incident was underway.
