Man arrested for raping nine-year-old boy in Shikarpur

Police in Shikarpur have arrested a man for raping a nine-year-old boy and registered an FIR against him within a few hours of the incident, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
Taking notice of the incident, SSP Shikarpur Shahzeb Chachar issued directives for the early arrest of the suspect.
On his instructions, a police team, led by SHO Rafiq Ahmad Soomro, arrested Farhan Soomro.
As per the FIR registered on the complaint of the victim’s father, Farhan raped his son Nizamuddin Soomro when he had gone to his home in connection with some work.
Police have said that a medical examination of the child will be conducted to ascertain the veracity of the claim.
On the other hand, declaring incidents of rape and sodomy intolerable, the SSP has vowed to bring the culprit to justice.
