British High commissioner Christian Turner has praised the elbow-bump greeting style of Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood.

In a tweet uploaded on Tuesday noon, the British High Commissioner said elbow-bump is one of the sad consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic but thanks to Shafqat Mehmood for doing so in style. 

It may be mentioned here that after the coronavirus pandemic hit the country the social distancing and face mask SOPs were implemented. The handshakes, a regular sign of greeting in the pre-virus era, all of a sudden vanished and were replaced with elbow-bump.  

Earlier, Christian Turner witnessed the virtual signing ceremony between the Pakistan-UK Business Council-FPCCI and Greater Manchester Chambers of Commerce on Pak-UK business partnerships and growing bilateral trade.
