Nawaz Sharif holds strategic meeting with Maulana Fazl to forge government alliance

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif convened a crucial meeting with Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman to forge government alliance at his residence in Islamabad on Friday.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, some seasoned politicians of the PML-N and JUI including Ahsan Iqbal, Ishaq Dar, Rana Sanaullah, Khawaja Saad Rafiq and Maulana Ghafoor Hydari also participated in the meeting.
Apart from this, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Ghulam Ali and Noor Alam Khan also attended the meeting.
The sources said Nawaz Sharif invited Maulana Fazlur Rehman to accompany him in the formation of the government and discussed the country's political situation in the meeting.
The sources said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman also voiced certain complaints to Nawaz Sharif during the meeting. The PML-N leadership asked the JUI cheif to help into establishing the central government.
