In Sargodha, 12-year-old domestic worker Ayesha died due to the alleged violence of the owners, 24News HD TV channel reported on Friday.
According to the police, housemaid Ayesha was working in the house of landlord Jawad Bhatti in Sargodha's suburb village 84 South. He was beaten and tortured to death.
After the murder, the accused called Ayesha's family that her daughter had an accident and she was injured.
When the family reached the spot, they found out that the girl had been tortured and killed, so Jawad Bhatti escaped along with his wife.
The police said that a case of murder has been registered against the accused Jawad Bhatti and his wife in Laksian Police Station on the complaint of Ayesha's father.
According to the police, the accused Jawad is the contractor of Toll Plaza. The search for the accused has been started and investigation will be done from all angles.
The police have shifted the body of the housekeeper to the hospital for post-mortem.
