CPEC Security Group meeting called after Eid

Federal Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has convened a meeting of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Security Group after Eid holidays to review the security of the CPEC projects and the Chinese nationals, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday. 

Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah will also attend the CPEC security meeting.

The meeting will also be attended by all relevant stakeholders, senior officers of the security institutions. 

The security group will be briefed on the Karachi University suicide bombing incident that killed three Chinese nationals and a Pakistani national carried out by female Baloch militant. The meeting will review and investigation on the Karachi blast.
