Sheikh Rasheed announces launching of Rescue 1122 service in Islamabad

Federal Minister for Interior Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has visited the Islamabad Fire Brigade Service and announced the launching of the Rescue 1122 service in the capital, reported 24NewsHD TV on Tuesday.
Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed said that the government is going to launch Rescue 1122 in Islamabad following the pattern of Punjab, this month.
Rescue 1122 will be included fire, ambulance and other emergency services.
Interior Minister Sheikh Rasheed said Rescue 1122 service would initially be included 20 vehicles.
And, he said in the second phase, the number of vehicles would be increased by 40.
Rasheed said the capital Islamabad is becoming the safest city, however, the construction of skyscrapers in Islamabad would place a greater burden on emergency services.
Furthermore, Rasheed had also inspected fire fighting and emergency management and drills during the visit.
