Imran Khan’s lawyer skips court date

The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday heard as an “objection case” the petition filed for the dismissal of cases against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and adjourned it till April 5 next, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Registrar Office of the LHC had put an objection to the petition. Suleman Safdar, senior lawyer for Imran Khan, did not appear before the court.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till April 5 next without any proceeding.
Naveed’s judicial remand extended
Three accused including Naveed, who had fired shots at Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan and other leaders in Wazirabad, were produced before a special anti-terrorism (ATC) court.
The other accused were Tayyab and Waqas. The court extended the judicial remand of the accused till April 17 next.
Thereafter, the accused were shifted to Gujranwala Central Jail. Tight security arrangements outside the court had been made during appearance of the accused.
