Justice Ayesha Malik among Harvard's top graduates

A Pakistani Supreme Court judge, Justice Ayesha A. Malik, has been featured on Harvard Law School's website as one of its most distinguished alumni.
The feat came as Harvard School of Law completed 100 years of its establishment and published the pictures of those who have achieved prominent positions in the world on its website.
Justice Malik, who graduated from Harvard with an LLM degree in 1999, is the first woman to serve on Pakistan's highest court and is expected to become the country's first woman Chief Justice in 2029.
She is known for her landmark judgments in the Lahore High Court, where she upheld the rights of women, minorities and the environment.
Legal experts and senior lawyers including former Supreme Court Bar President Ahsan Bhoon, former Vice Chairman Pakistan Bar Council Hafeez. Ur Rehman Chaudhry, former Federal Law Minister Dr. Khalid Ranjha, former Advocate General Punjab Asma Hamid and other senior lawyers have praised Justice Malik for her judicial decisions and her services to make justice possible.
Justice Malik is an inspiration for women lawyers and a source of pride for Pakistan.
