Punjab govt decides to expand metro bus track from Lahore to Kasur

Punjab government has decided to expand Green Line Metro Bus track from Lahore to Kasur city, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.
According to report, planning has been started to connect Metro Bus track from Gajumata to Kasur City.
Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has ordered feasibility study for Metro Bus Expansion.
However, Metro Bus route-track will be expanded in the light of feasibility study.
On the orders of Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Punjab Transport Department has started working on feasibility study.
Provincial Transport Minister Bilal Akbar Khan said the main objective of Metro Bus track expansion is to expand BRT scope.
He said funds to connect Metro Bus track with Kasur city will be determined in the light of feasibility study report.
Connecting Kasur city will provide public transport to citizens at doorstep, provincial minister said.
