Pakistan will bowl first as Zimbabwe captain won the toss and elected to bat in the second T20I being played in Bulawayo today.
The second T20 of the three-match series between Pakistan and Zimbabwe is being played in Bulawayo, with visitors fielding the same team which won the first T20I.
Pakistan had launched the T20I series against Zimbabwe with a decisive 57-run triumph in the inaugural match held at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo, on Sunday last.
Batting first, Pakistan amassed 165 runs for the loss of four wickets, driven by notable performances from Usman Khan and Tayyab Tahir, who each scored 39 runs. Irfan Khan contributed a late surge with an unbeaten 27 runs off 15 deliveries.
Sikandar Raza and Ryan Burl proved to be the most economical bowlers for Zimbabwe, securing a wicket each.
During their pursuit, Zimbabwe struggled against Pakistan’s disciplined bowling attack and were dismissed for 108 runs in 15.3 overs.
Sikandar Raza displayed resilience, scoring 39 runs, while Abrar Ahmed and Andy Sufyan Muqeem impressed with three wickets each for Pakistan.
