Chief Minister Punjab has said that the government is just taking action against persons wanted in the May 9 cases, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.
After the inauguration of the Old Block of Holy Family Hospital, he said no action is being taken against election candidates.
He said the person should complain if action is being taken against any candidate. The Punjab government will address the issue, the chief minister stressed.
The chief minister also took a round of the hospital and said Rs4 billion was spent on this project.
When this hospital is completed, it will become a new healthcare facility, he said.
He added the 800-trolley garbage was cleared off the hospital basement.
For three months, the people have suffered and will now get a new hospital, he said, adding that its equipment is being purchased.

It is difficult to complete the Ring Road project in a short time, the chief minister maintained, adding that it would be completed in August-October. The FWO is doing excellent work on the Ring Road, he added.
