Istehkam-e-Pakistan (IPP) leader Aun Chaudhry has described the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) as 'a snake financed by enemy agencies.
"There is no greater enemy of the country than the Tehreek-e-Insaf. It is a snake," he said.
Aun added: "The PTI hired a PR firm in London in 2016. Zulfi Bukhari introduced it PR."
He went on: “The PTI conspired against Pakistan. It launched a heinous campaign against the Pakistan Army
“Tehreek-e-Insaf won medals in acting,"
He claimed he knew financers and money trail
"If you want to rescue the leader, come to Pakistan, why did you run away to London?
"Tehreek-e-Insaaf conspired against Pakistan along with Jews.
"Zulfi Bukhari wrote a letter to the UN group against Pakistan”
Chaudhry’s statement comes a day after a report said a panel of UN experts determined that the detention of former Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan was arbitrary and in violation of international law, calling for him to be released "immediately".
Imran Khan's ‘detention had no legal basis and appears to have been intended to disqualify him from running for political office’, the working group said.
"Thus, from the outset, that prosecution was not grounded in law and was reportedly instrumentalised for a political purpose," it said in the opinion, which was dated March 25 but only made public on Monday.
