Doctors successfully performed an appendix operation on Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) central leader Mian Mahmood-ul-Rashid under the leadership of Professor Yasin Rafi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Sunday.
Mian Mahmood-ul-Rashid, currently on judicial remand in Kot Lakhpat Jail for multiple cases related to the May 9 incidents, was brought to Services Hospital with severe stomach pain.
Initial examinations, including a CT scan of the abdomen, revealed a critical condition of the appendix, necessitating immediate surgery.
The medical team swiftly conducted the operation, which has been declared successful. Mian Mahmood-ul-Rashid’s health is reportedly better than before, and he is recovering well.
Additional blood test reports are anticipated by evening or the following morning, providing further insight into his overall health condition.
