Federal Railways Minister Sheikh Rashid has claimed that talks on 18th constitutional amendment has been going on with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).

Talking to a private TV channel, Sheikh Rashid said the PML-N would support the changes in the 18th constitutional amendment if cases against their leaders, Mian Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz, were taken back.

However, PML-N leader Rana Sanaullah termed the federal railways minister’s claim as ‘baseless’. Rana said that no one from his party was talking to the federal government at any level.

PPP leader Saeed Ghani also said that those who made government merely on the basis of three votes were now talking about the amendments.
