Karachi Water and Sewerage Board (KWSB) employees on Monday suspended the work while protesting outside the office of KWSB MD Asadullah Khan after PTI MNA Faheem Khan allegedly tortured the Board workers of Korangi Sub-division who were on duty to stop water theft, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
KWSB employees also lodged an application in the relevant police station and maintained that they would stop the work till an FIR is registered against the PTI MNA Faheem Khan.

The victim employees claimed that an illegal waterline connection was made from the water board's mainline and upon receiving the information they reached the site to inspect the illegal connection but MNA Faheem Khan along with his colleagues also dashed there and allegedly tortured the employees.

Earlier, employees of KWSB also lodged FIRs against PTI leaders Raja Azhar, Mubashir and others on water theft cases.

Faheem Khan was elected from NA-241 (Korangi Karachi-III) in the 2018 general elections.
