The Supreme Court of Pakistan just two days before the hearing of its suo motu notice about the worsening coronavirus situation delisted the case, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The apex court also issued the notice of delisting of the case on Monday. The case was delisted due to the unavailability of five judges who made the larger bench of the Supreme Court.

Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Justice Gulzar Ahmad, Justice Musheer Alam, Justice Umar Atta Bandial, Justice Ejazul Hassan, and Justice Mazhar Alam are included in the larger bench.

Earlier, the date of 5th May was fixed to take up the said suo motu notice and notices to the concerned federal and provincial authorities including Attorney General Pakistan, Federal Secretary for Health, Federal Interior Secretary, and Chairman of the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) were also issued last Saturday.
