CEC ‘re-employs’ Omar Hamid as ‘unwell ’ secretary resigns

The Chief Election Commissioner has ‘re-employed’ Omar Hamid Khan as the commission secretary, 24NewsHD TV Channel reported Thursday.
According to a notification issued by the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) , the former bureaucrat has been re-posted for two years.
Earlier, ECP secretary Asif Hussain stepped down and according to sources, he is ‘unwell’.
Omar Hamid Khan resigned from his post over health issues in January - a few weeks before the general elections.
