PM’s subsidy becomes useless, utility stores increase ghee prices, notification issued

Soon after the announcement of Prime Minister Imran Khan’s 30 per cent subsidy on ghee (eatable oil), utility stores Wednesday increased ghee price by Rs53 per kilogram.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, soon after ending the PM’s address to the nation on television channels about giving subsidy on ghee, the utility stores issued notification of increasing ghee prices.
The notification of the ghee and cooking oils’ new prices is implemented immediately.
After the notification, rates of the ghee and cooking oils of different brands have become more expensive at the utility stores.
As per the report, prices of ghee have been increased by Rs53 per kg and cooking oils by Rs65 per litre.
The price of Eva Ghee has gone up from Rs335 to Rs383 per kg, Dalda Ghee 393 per kg, Talu ghee Rs368 per kg, Habib Ghee Rs 390 per kg, and Meezan Ghee Rs 377 per kg.
While, the prices of Dalda Cooking Oil has gone up to Rs400 per litre, EVA Cooking Oil from Rs347 to Rs410 per litre, Habib Oil Rs398 per litre.
