Illegal immigrants found involved in heinous crimes

More than 180 cases were lodged against illegal immigrants on charges of terrorism, drug peddling and other henious crimes, the 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Friday.
The Lahore police stated that at least 287 illegal foreigners were named in the cases. The number of Afghans involved in the cases was 277 while the other 10 were from different countries.
In Lahore only, 33 foreigners were named in the cases and 28 were Afghans.
The police officials said that the challans of the accused in most cases have been completed and presented in the courts.
The authorities have gathered the data regarding the repatriation of illegal immigrants across Punjab and many of them are involved in terrorist activities.
