Australian envoy calls on Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi

Australian High Commissioner Neil Hawkins arrived at the Ministry of Interior and met with Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi welcomed the Australian High Commissioner on his arrival at the Ministry of Interior.
Bilateral relations and issues of mutual interest were discussed in the meeting.
In the meeting it was agreed to increase cooperation in the areas of border management and anti-human trafficking.
In the meeting, discussions were held on granting the status of sister cities to Islamabad Capital Territory and Australian Capital Territory.
It was also agreed to further promote cooperation between the Pakistan Cricket Board and the Australian Cricket Board in the meeting.
Talking on the occasion Mohsin Naqvi said that the Pakistani team will leave for a tour of Australia on October 30 and hoped that the people of both countries will get to see a lot of games during this tour.
Mohsin Naqvi said that NOCs will be issued to Pakistani women players for Big Bash.
The Australian High Commissioner said that Australia will provide support in the areas of training, women's and blind cricket.
The Australian High Commissioner also presented a cricket bat signed by the Australian team to the Interior Minister.
The entire team has been appointed for border management and anti-human trafficking, Mohsen Naqvi said.
Mohsin Naqvi said that government is working hard to prevent human trafficking from all countries including Australia.
In this regard, work is also being done on increasing the capacity of FIA, Mohsen Naqvi said.
Pakistan can benefit from Australia's advanced border management methods and tools, Australian High Commissioner said.
The Interior Minister welcomed the Australian High Commissioner's offer.
In the meeting, it was agreed to hold a joint working group meeting in Australia in December.
Mohsin Naqvi said that Pakistan is providing all possible facilities in the migration of Afghan refugees to Australia.
