Punjab govt submits reply to SC on adjournment of assembly session till 6th

The Punjab government Monday submitted a reply to the Supreme Court regarding a brawl in the hall of the Punjab Assembly after the adjournment of the assembly session till April 6, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

It was stated in the reply that a session had been called on April 6 to elect the new Chief Minister of Punjab.

“The Punjab Assembly will convene the session peacefully,” reads the reply.

“During the previous session on April 3, some women parliamentarians got involved in a brawl. However, there is no problem of law and order in Punjab,” it added.
