ECP instructs wings to speed up preparations for Punjab polls

After the verdict of the Supreme Court in the Punjab polls delay case, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) Tuesday instructed its concerned wings to speed up the preparations regarding the elections in Punjab on May 14.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, an important meeting of the ECP was held in Islamabad to review the decision of the Supreme Court on Tuesday.
In the context of the decision of the Supreme Court in the meeting, important decisions were made by the ECP, sources said.
In the meeting, this is decided that the Commission will contact the federal government soon to implement the Supreme Court's decision.
The sources said the Election Commission's advisory meeting has also been called for tomorrow (Wednesday) morning.
