Punjab government following the worse situation of the fourth wave of coronavirus Wednesday closed the shrines in four major cities of the province. 

According to the 24News HD TV channel, all shrines in four major cities of Punjab province including Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, and Multan have been closed in view of increasing corona cases in the masses.

The government had announced to lockdown all shrines in Lahore, Faisalabad, Rawalpindi, and Multan till the end of this month, August 31.

Punjab government had also issued a notification of closing the shrines from today (Wednesday) August 04, 2021.

Soon after issuing the notification, the administration authorities had closed Data Darbar (Shrine of Hazrat Ali Hajveri (RA) immediately.
