Police on Friday raided the house of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Ali Amin Gandapur in Dera Ismail Khan and recovered huge supplies of flood and corona relief, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
“Ali Amin Gandapur escaped during the police raid,” police said.
“This is the same equipment that the Government of Pakistan had given to the district administration to help the poor, but the then deputy commissioner delivered all these goods to Ali Amin’s house,” they added.
In September 2022, when Sajid Baloch, a reporter for 24NewsHD TV channel, had claimed about this in Najam Sethi Show, the then deputy commissioner, Nasrullah Khattak, and Ali Amin Gandapur turned against him.
However, Sajid Baloch stuck to his news.
In addition to the relief goods, the police also found bags of slingshots, marbles and sticks, which were supposed to be used by Ali Amin Gandapur to have the common people fight against the state.
Apart from registering a case against Ali Amin Gandapur, the authorities have also hinted at conducting a high-level inquiry over the recovery of flood relief goods from the house of Ali Amin Gandapur.
