Three facilitators of Khyber mosque suicide attack arrested

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) has arrested three facilitators of the suicide attack on a mosque at Ali Masjid in Khyber district a few days ago, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
A CTD spokesperson said the three facilitators were traced by the intelligence agencies. They were identified as Dilawar Khan and his two sons namely Zabta Khan and Arif Khan.
The spokesperson further informed that the accused have confessed to facilitating the suicide explosion at the mosque. More disclosures are expected to be made by the suspects who are being interrogated by the CTD personnel, he added.
The CTD personnel also seized suicide vests, weapons including a Kalashnikov and other materials from the suspects’ residence in Sultan Khel.
On July 25 last, Additional Station House Officer (SHO) Adnan Afridi was martyred and several other people sustained injuries in the suicide blast at the mosque in Khyber district.
