Jamiat Ulem-e-Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman met with the leaders of Palestine and Hamas including former head of Hamas Khaled Mashal in Qatar, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
In the meeting, Maulana Fazl condoled the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh on behalf of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam and the people of Pakistan.
Maulana Fazl offered Fateha and prayed for high ranks in Jannah for Ismail Haniyeh and for martyrs of Gaza.
Speaking on the occasion, Maulana Fazl said that the blood of Shaheed Ismail Haniyeh will not go in vain. He said the martyrdom will strengthen the freedom struggle of Palestine.
Maulana Fazl said the entire Islamic world is saddened by the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh.
It is the duty of all Muslims to liberate Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Zionist occupation, said Maulana Fazlur Rehman.
He said the morale of Hamas leaders was very high and the Palestinian people and the Muslim Ummah will not give up the freedom of Al-Aqsa Mosque and Palestine under any circumstances.
Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that JUI and the entire Pakistani nation are with the Palestinians in their struggle for freedom.
We pray that Allah may accept the martyrdom of the deceased and give him the reward he deserves, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said.
May Allah grant patience to the bereaved, Maulana Fazlur Rehman prayed.
Along with Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Allama Rashid Mahmood Soomro and Mufti Abrar Ahmed are also included in the delegation.
