PM extends heartfelt greetings on Sindhi Cultural Day   

Events, rallies held across country to mark traditional occasion

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has extended his heartfelt greetings to everyone on Sindhi Cultural Day which is being celebrated across the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

While sharing greetings on the social media site, Twitter, the premier said that the culture and heritage of Sindh is beautifying the entire region and humanity for thousands of years. He wished a happy Sindhi culture day to all the Sindhi brothers and sisters.

An event was held in Tando Allahyar to mark Sindhi culture day which was attended by children who were dressed in Sindhi outfits.

Meanwhile, a rally was conducted in Khairpur to mark Sindhi culture day. A large number of men, women and children joined the rally with Sindhi caps on their heads and ajrak (Sindhi shawl) on their shoulders. 

Similarly, events are also being held in Mir Pur Khas to celebrate Sindhi culture day. 

On the other hand, rallies were conducted in Jacobabad to observe Sindhi culture day. Youngsters performed a dance on traditional Sindi songs and raised the slogan of “Jiye Sindh”.
