Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry has said that the report submitted by the scrutiny committee to the SBP was compiled in the PML-N rule. Of 18, eight accounts are dormant, he told the media after a federal cabinet meeting on Tuesday.

Flanked by State Minister Farrukh Habib, Fawad Ch explained that six of the accounts are subsidiary accounts. He said 56 accounts were not mentioned anywhere in the report.

The PPP did not shared with the ECP the details of nine accounts in 2013, 11 in 2014 and 10 in 2015 from the election commission, Farrukh Habib said citing a report compile by a special PTI squad.

The state minister added that the PML-N hid the details of nine accounts having  more than Rs629,800,000.  As per the analysis of the scrutiny team, the PTI revealed 12 bank accounts in foreign funding case while it concealed 53 bank accounts.

The federal cabinet approved the extradition of Abdul Qadir Ehsan to UK and appointment of Nadir Mumtaz for the chairmanship of Karachi Port Trust. It directed the Ministry of Science and Technology to provide electronic voting machines to the Election Commission.
