Woman tortured to death by son and daughter-in-law in Hyderabad

A woman died due to alleged torture by her son and daughter-in-law in Gujrati Muhalla in the limits of Tando Yousaf police station in Hyderabad on Saturday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The woman’s son along with his wife severely tortured his mother over a minor argument.

The body of the deceased woman, Kulsoom, has been shifted to Civil Hospital.

Deceased woman’s younger son Sajjad Ali said that his and his brother were thrown out of the house by the elder brother Muhammad Ali and they were living in a nearby shop. 

Sajjad Ali said when they reached home due to noise, they saw their elder brother and his wife were torturing their mother. 

He said that the mother was kicked on the chest due to which she fell on the ground and died. He said the mother was tortured over the issue of throwing garbage.

Brother Muhammad Ali and his wife used to torture their mother before too and they had filed a complaint with the police but a cope at the police station was a friend of the brother, Sajjad Ali said.

In this regard, SHO police station Tando Yousaf said that the incident is being investigated. No arrest has been made yet, the SHO said.
