With the talented Hiba Bukhari and heartthrob Danish Taimoor as the lead couple, we knew that 7th Sky Entertainment’s Deewangi would rule over the hearts of audiences in no time; and now we are witnessing that in the form of rave reviews and TRPs, this family drama is on top charts.

People’s interest in Nageen Faiyaz (Hiba Bukhari) and Sultan Durrani’s (Danish Taimoor) love saga has been inclining with each passing episode and audiences are curious to know what fate has in store for them.

Sultan is an influential young man and a business tycoon while Nageen is an ambitious girl who wants to be something on her own to break free from the restraints of poverty. Given that the two come from very different social and financial backgrounds, their relationship faces many setbacks and tragedies as they head on a journey of love, misunderstandings, emotions, and the harsh realities of life.

The story is intensifying, and we are now more hooked to it since Sultan is back in Nageen’s life once again, and this passionate lover aims to go to any extent to get his lost love back in his life.

Here are some reasons you should catch up on the show soon if you were missing on it until now.

1.      Strong female lead

Deewangi is not just a typical love story. Rather, it touches upon and highlights various social evils in our society, such as the harassment that women face in public places like bus stations and how influential and rich men in our community stalk each and every woman out there. Moreover, Nageen essays a strong female character who did not give in to societal pressures. She stood up for herself and always preferred respect over love, thus imparting a lesson of women empowerment and upholding women's rights.

2.      The Chemistry Between Nageen and Sultan!

While Sultan is in love with Nageen and is crazy for her, Nageen doesn’t hold the same sentiments. It is interesting to watch Hiba Bukhari and Danish Taimoor bring this dynamic alive on our screens!

3.      An Ensemble Cast

Apart from lead actors, the casting has been done in a very well planned manner for the show, and all the supporting actors are giving the best of their performances, further enhancing viewers' interest in the story.

Among the younger lot of actors, Deewangi features Ali Abbas and Zoya Nasir, while various veteran actors such as Mehmood Aslam, Nida Mumtaz, Ismat Zaidi, Noor Ul Hasan, Parveen Akbar, and Humera Bano are also essaying important roles in the project.

4.      A Perfect Combo of Love, Suspense & Emotions

The story is a perfect amalgamation of love, emotions, and suspense, which is rare in love stories these days. Every episode of Deewangi leaves us pondering over the next, a new twist or a turn is awaiting to welcome viewers in every new outing. As soon as an episode ends, you are left waiting for more!
