Two soldiers embraced martyrdom in a firefight with terrorists in the Bannu district of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, ISPR said on Saturday.
Troops killed two terrorists in the exchange of fire that occurred in the Jani Khel area of the Bannu district, the military media wing said.
The martyred soldiers are 40-year-old Naib Subedar Ghulam Murataza from Bahawalpur and 41-year-old Havildar Muhammad Anwar from Sialkot.
The security forces’ clearance operation is underway, the ISPR said, adding that the armed forces are determined to eliminate terrorism.
