The Lahore High Court has set a petition challenging the recent amendment in the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) law made through a presidential ordinance for the hearing, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Monday.

Justice Shujaat Ali Khan will preside over the hearing of the petition filed by citizen Muneer Ahmed tomorrow.

Muneer Ahmed's petition contests the Federal Government and Chairman NAB's decision to increase the duration of physical remand from 14 days to 40 days. The petition names the Federal Government, Chairman NAB, and others as respondents.

The petitioner argues that the amendment, enacted through a presidential ordinance, should be declared null and void. The hearing aims to address these concerns and determine the legality of the changes made to the NAB law.
