Crime rate in Lahore witnesses alarming rise in last 3 days

Unstoppable crime in Lahore has become a big headache for the administration as in the last three days, 763 cases of crime-related activities were registered, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

On March 3, 260 incidents of robbery were occurred in Punjab’s provincial capital. In 554 incidents of robbery, citizens had to bear loss of millions of rupees.

Six incidents of child abduction took place in different parts of the city. Three women and a child were sexually assaulted.

112 motorcycles have been snatched in the last three days. In three days, 22 cars and other vehicles were taken away by robbers and thieves.

There were 11 robberies at stores along with shops and pharmacies. During the road, 45 people were robbed at gunpoint in different incidents.

Thieves broke the locks of 19 houses and shops in the city and looted valuables. In one house, robbers looted a family at their house on gunpoint.

This has not ended, as five people were murdered in different incidents in Lahore.

As per sources, the police have not yet registered cases on several complaints.
