Pakistani rupee batters US dollar

The rupee has buffeted US dollar and Pakistani currency’s value appreciated by 12 paisas during the daytime interbank trading on Friday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
According to the forex traders, the dollar slid a bit during morning trading and it was being traded at Rs177.65. Yesterday, the closing rate of the greenback was Rs177.83.

The rate of US dollar which was galloping high rapidly before the release of IMF’s stalled $1 billion tranche, was stopped after the loan programme was revived in early February.
